     Welcome!  The Brown Dog Inn is a home away from home for your family dog or cat.  We specialize in individual care with the hospitality of a country inn.  The Inn opened in 2006 with the purpose of providing a quality, warm, loving, safe, and home-like environment for your pets.  Located on 10 acres of land in beautiful Freeport, Maine and only a short distance from Brunswick, Portland, and Auburn.  Let your friends come spend the day in our fun doggie daycare or stay the night in our cat or dog suites.  If they need a little TLC we can spoil them with a massage, bath, or nature walk.  We hope you will browse our pages to gain a feeling of what we are all about.  Thank you for visiting The Brown Dog Inn.
